Monday - Let's explore Autumn!

Watch the clip about Autumn -  Autumn What months are included in the Autumn season? Can you think of any facts that you have learnt about Autumn?   Have a go at writing them down and drawing a tree to match the season, just like the template below.  Extra task: Can you draw a picture of yourself in Autumn and label the clothes you are wearing?

Maths - Week beginning 27th April

This week our math sessions are going to focus on time. We will be looking at the clock, days of the week, seasons and our daily timetables.  Monday - Your day Below are a list of activities, can you match them to the correct time of day that you would normally do these things? Will it be: morning (6 am-12 noon) afternoon  (12 noon-4 pm) evening (5-6 pm) night time (7 pm onward).  eating breakfast putting your pyjamas on  sunset getting picked up from school getting dressed for the day eating dinner  coming to school eat lunch have a bath  sunrise Tuesday - Drawing your timetable Can you draw a visual timetable for your day?  I would like you to include the following:  breakfast school activities  daily exercise/play time dinner lunch  story time/movie time bed time    (please note this is only an example - please interpret it as you like) Wednesday - Looking at ...

Friday Celebration!

Afternoon Everybody,  Well, what an amazing first week back this has been for our home learning journey.  You have all worked so hard (grown-ups too) and we are memorized with the work that you have been doing at home.  I think it goes without saying, a massive  thank you to our parents for being so engaged and supporting your learning from home.  *Congratulations to our workers of the week* Bluebells - Yahya & Maryam Sunflowers - Harley & Yashveer Don't forget you can watch our celebration assemblies each week on the  school website .  Here are some snaps from the week, enjoy your weekend guys!  P.S. Friday 24th April - Don't let them disappear!

Hi everybody,  For this weeks Friday project we would like you to have a listen to  Don't Let Them Disappear . This is a book by Chelsea Clinton that looks at endangered animals.  Once you have listened to the book we would like you to choose at least one activity (or as many as you like) from the below list:  make an endangered animal mask go on an endangered animal hunt outside in the garden make an endangered animal fact-file  make some binoculars  write a story/poem about an endangered animal make a poster to tell people to stop hunting endangered animals  create your own jungle den at home  Here are some other ideas you might like to explore at home:  Here is a link to some  Safari Yoga  if you would like to have a go!  Have fun guys!

For today's activity we would like you to have a go at creating a mini-beast habitat.
