Friday Celebration!

Image
Well guys, another week done. I think we're going to run out of merit points at this rate. You're work has been absolutely fantastic and I couldn't be happier with you all. Give yourselves a big pat on the back (you too grown-ups).  Next week our blog activities are going to focus on children's well-being and mental health. As part of this Maryam (Bluebells) has come up with a fantastic idea. Over the weekend, I would like you to record a message for all of your friends to share on the blog. Your teachers will be doing this too! It would be lovely for all of your friends to hear your voice and see your faces, just a quick message to say hello and let us know how you are doing. I am excited to hear from you all. Please email these to Miss Forrester on bluebells@poplarsfarm.bradford.sch.uk  by Monday at 12noon! Workers of the week this week are, from Bluebells, Zihan and Rayaan. And from Sunflowers, Liyana and Khatija. Well done superstars.  Keep up the fantastic wo

Project Friday - Celebrating Florence Nightingale

For today's project we are going to be doing some research. Tuesday 12th May was International Nurses Day. This is a day that originally celebrated Florence's birth and now celebrates the important role of nurses in health care.  Short Story - Florence Nightingale Your task today is to create a poster or information booklet about Florence and her life.  Can you find out three facts about Florence?  Can you draw a picture of Florence? Do you have any nurses or doctors in your family or community?  Can you think of a time when a nurse has helped you? Here is a link to Activity Village which can also help with your research:  Florence Nightingale - Activity Village We look forward to seeing your projects, good luck!
