Google Classroom - PLEASE READ

We are pleased to announce that we will be moving to Google Classroom as of next week (Monday 22nd June). The content will be the same, you will get weekly maths lessons, phonics lessons, creative tasks and books to read. However, there will be the addition of online lessons that we will be able to bring to you weekly. We can't wait!

You should have already received an email inviting you to join your class page (either Sunflowers or Bluebells) on Google Classroom. If you have not received this email or if you are having issues accessing it, then please email us as soon as possible so we can help to resolve this.

As we transition across to Google Classroom, we kindly ask that you continue to share your child's achievements with us via your child's Tapestry journal. On there, we can reply to your child's observations and give feedback which can help to move their learning along even further.

We will be placing Wednesday and Thursday's (17th, 18th June) creative task on Google Classroom only this week for you to try it out.

In order to access the Google Classroom page, you will need to follow the following steps:
1. Open up google chrome
3. Enter your username and password
4. Use this YouTube video to support you accessing google classroom if needed. 


Thank you to everyone for taking the time to complete the learning activities with your children at home, and for continuing to keep in touch with us. You are all doing an amazing job!

Here are this weeks numeracy tasks.  Monday - Exploring number bonds within 10.  Using your ten-frame that was included in your home learning pack (or you could draw one on some paper) can you explore what numbers make 10.   Can you list all of the different number sentences to make ten? (see below example) 3+7=10 *Please note you can work within five if your child is struggling with ten.  Tuesday - Using the below as a guide, can your child complete the following for numbers 1-10.  For example:  Wednesday -  Coin challenge  Ask your grown up if you can count the coins they have? How many are 1p coins?  Can you create and write a number sentence? Thursday -  Whose shoes? Can you find 4 different sized shoes in your house and put them in order of size? What else can you find to order by length? Can you write a sentence to explain what you have noticed? Happy investigating!
